Network Affiliates was founded with the belief that even the little guy has a right to the courtroom and that these people deserve a bigger voice. To give the average joe a voice, they need a lawyer to represent them. So, Norton Frickey, Sr. began advertising his legal services on television and began selling this vision to other lawyers all over North America. This fundamental belief that people come first is one of the pillars of our belief system at Network Affiliates. It is who we are and is a belief that our clients share and preach every day.
In order to spread this message of people being more important than anything else in the legal profession, Network Affiliates teamed up with ATLA (now the AAJ) and others to produce a series of commercials that aimed to educate the public about the insurance industry’s efforts to limit awards granted on medical malpractice cases. Tort reform has become a big issue in congress during the past decade and these reforms limit how much money the average person can earn off of medical malpractice cases. These reforms ultimately make it more difficult for people to obtain the money they need in order to recover from suffering from medical malpractice.
Our contributions along with the contributions of all of the other entities involved illustrates our commitment to due process when sticking up for those who don’t have as loud of a voice as the insurance company in the court room. Lawyers are here to give people a louder voice and help to make sure that their voice is heard. Below are two ads that were produced in an effort to show how tort reform can be potentially harmful to people everywhere. We are incredibly proud to be a part of this movement and to help unite people with quality legal representation. Our access to the courtroom is one of the finer qualities of this country and allows everyone to be heard in court. To see these educational spots, click the links below.
